Goodbye 2011, Hello 2012
This short post will serve me as a reminder in the end of 2012. When I need to look back a while and see how things have been going. Of course, if Allah SWT still give me another NYE, ameen. :)
Okay. Let’s begin with a quick replay of what happened in 2011. I think I made 87,56% of last year resolutions. ”Where did you get that number?” Obviously, not from any statistical calculation. *idiealittleinsideeverytimeihearSTATISTICS*

Did these on 2011:
- I got A for Advanced Accounting, which completed my step as Financial Accounting Teaching Assistant. Big alhamdulillah, since learning consolidation topic in the middle of IFRS convergence is quite a challenge.
- Went to National Round of Danone Trust with my team Golden Eagle (@freddymdf, @yuniandari, teh lenny, teh chacha)… but failed to go to Paris. Hahaha. At least we robbed bunch of Activia and Mizone at the event.
- Had a backpacker trip to outside of Java Island. Well, Tidung Island is physically located outside of Java Island, right?
- Accidentally teamed up with @niellarland for NAW Conference and won the Best Orator award. What a surprise.
- Being a writer in iCreativeLabs Studio for six months. What was I, who only knew about accounting and capitalism world, thinking to go deep with freelancing and WordPress e-commerce stuff? That’s why this experience is forever a mindset changer for me. Thanks again, Teh Rini and Mas Anggi and the whole team.
- Went to KKNM (obligatory field practice) at Desa Bantarkalong, Cipatujah, Tasik Jabar. It was the most relaxing month of the year. Hi there, Majority Gang of 15! Hahaha.
- Published two compilation books at NulisBuku. Even though they may not be achievements (because everyone can publish anything there), it made me believe that writing is actually a profession. Not mere a hobby.
- Had a very serious commitment with Cookie about our upcoming LDR in 2012, hahaha. I was surprised yet grateful that he became so supportive about my future plans.
- I leveled up my cooking skill. Like, from “bad” to “not so bad”. *rotfl*
What I didn’t on 2011:
- TOEFL Score of 550
- Going abroad for (almost) Rp0 and $0, regardless of the occassion
So, those delayed resolutions will be added up to my 2012 To-do Lists as follows,
- To graduate with cum laude GPA on May. In order to do so, I HAVE to get minimum A- for remaining subjects: research methodology, IS auditing, and mini thesis. Phew. (Otherwise, graduate on May will be enough.)
- To get a job which meets my passion, idealism, and expected benefits.
- To impress Cookie’s mom with my cookings. Oh yeah.
.
So, happy new year, everyone!
I have this feeling that 2012 is going to be a great year. For all of us. :)

Love,
me & Cookie (pardon his icy face)
